PUBLIC WEBSITE TERMS
Terms of Service
Mental Wealth Ambition | Proposed effective date: 11-4-2026
Welcome to Mental Wealth Ambition. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern use of our public website, www.mentalwealthambition.com, its informational content, and website-mediated inquiries or payments. We wrote them to be clear about what this website does, what it does not do, and the responsibilities we each have. Clinical services, patient confidentiality, consent to treatment and payment obligations are also governed by separate documents and applicable law. Those protections are not reduced by these Terms.
1. Operator and acceptance
The website is operated by Mental Wealth Ambition, 7755 Center Avenue, Suite 1100, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. [Insert exact operating legal entity and any applicable DBA.] By accessing or using the website, you agree to follow these Terms to the extent enforceable under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the interactive website features. Viewing a privacy notice is not consent to medical-information disclosures.
2. Informational site; no relationship created online
Website articles, FAQs, biographies, educational material and descriptions of therapy, education advocacy and mindset/performance support are general information, not a diagnosis, personal treatment advice, legal advice or an emergency service. Sending a message, booking a consultation request, making a website payment, or viewing content does not by itself create a therapist-patient relationship. A clinical relationship begins only when an appropriate clinician accepts you for treatment and required intake and informed-consent steps are completed. No particular clinical outcome is guaranteed.
3. Emergency and crisis situations
Do not use the website, public contact form, voicemail, email, social media or ordinary text message for emergencies or immediate safety concerns. We do not guarantee that these channels are continuously monitored. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Existing patients should also follow their individualized emergency instructions.
4. Eligibility, caregivers and minors
Adults may use the website for lawful purposes. Parents, guardians or authorized representatives may make inquiries about minors within their lawful authority. Whether a parent, legal guardian, minor, or other individual may consent to treatment, access records, or incur financial responsibility is determined by California law, court orders, clinical circumstances, and any other applicable law, not by an assumption that all parents must sign. We may request reasonable documentation before acting on a request.
5. Services and professional boundaries
Clinical mental health care is provided only by appropriately licensed or supervised professionals as authorized by law. Education advocacy and mindset/performance support may have different scopes, professional roles and confidentiality or insurance rules; their engagement terms will identify whether they are clinical or nonclinical. Education advocacy does not promise a particular school placement or outcome and does not constitute legal representation unless separately provided by a qualified attorney under a signed agreement. Services may be declined, delayed, referred out or discontinued for lawful clinical, safety, professional or operational reasons, subject to applicable duties of care and continuity.
6. Appointments, insurance and fees
Descriptions of accepted insurers do not guarantee your specific plan, clinician, service or claim will be covered. Benefits, prior authorization, deductibles, copays, coinsurance and eligibility may depend on your payer and plan. Patients should confirm coverage with their payer and our office. Published service descriptions and website payment links do not replace a specific fee disclosure, Good Faith Estimate (when required), or a signed Patient Financial Responsibility Agreement. If a policy permits cancellation or no-show charges, those terms must be disclosed and agreed to separately before being charged.
7. Website payments and financial responsibility
If you use a payment link, you authorize only the displayed transaction and any expressly disclosed payment terms you separately accept. Payments are processed by the designated payment provider. Do not include diagnosis or therapy descriptions in payment notes unless the secure workflow specifically requests and appropriately protects that information. Actual patient balances, insurance adjustments, overpayments, refunds, payment plans and lawful collections are governed by the applicable patient financial agreement and law. Nothing here authorizes prohibited fees, inappropriate disclosure of protected health information, or credit reporting of California medical debt.
8. Privacy and communications
Please read our website Privacy Policy and, for patient information, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices. Public website messages may not be appropriate for sensitive clinical information. Marketing emails and text messages are only sent as allowed by law and any required opt-in preferences. Transactional service and billing messages remain subject to applicable privacy and communications rules.
9. Appropriate website use
• Provide accurate information when making requests or payments, and use only information and payment methods you are authorized to use.
• Do not interfere with security, attempt unauthorized access to accounts or records, scrape personal information, introduce malware or impersonate another person.
• Do not upload illegal, threatening, infringing or malicious content or submit information about another person without appropriate authority.
• Respect the privacy and intellectual property rights of others and follow applicable law.
10. Content ownership and permitted use
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original text, visual presentation, logos and other content are owned by Mental Wealth Ambition or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may view and print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial informational use. You may not reproduce the site as a competing service or use our branding to imply endorsement without permission. Third-party marks remain their owners’ property.
11. External websites and technology
Our site may link to third-party booking, payment, social or informational services. Their terms and privacy notices may apply to those services. We do not guarantee that independent third-party content is current or accurate. We remain responsible for legal obligations that apply to our own vendor relationships and information handling.
12. Availability, errors and changes
We aim to keep the website useful, but it may be unavailable or contain typographical or technical errors. We may modify its content, remove features or correct inaccuracies. We may also update these Terms prospectively and will post an updated effective date. Changes do not retroactively override an existing signed clinical or financial agreement without a legally effective modification.
13. Disclaimers and liability limitations
To the extent allowed by law, public website content and functionality are provided on an "as available" basis without a promise of uninterrupted operation or error-free materials. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses solely arising from ordinary site use to the extent such a limitation is lawful. These Terms do not waive liability for professional negligence, unlawful conduct, gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing; do not limit nonwaivable consumer rights; and do not replace obligations owed to patients under professional, privacy, medical or other law. No website disclaimer limits a patient’s right to appropriate clinical care or redress.
14. Feedback and intellectual property complaints
If you believe website content violates your rights, send a description and supporting details to the contact information below. Please do not include sensitive medical information in a general copyright or website feedback message. Feedback submitted voluntarily may be reviewed and used to improve the website, but we will not publicly share identifying patient experiences without appropriate permission.
15. Governing law and disputes
California law governs disputes relating to the public website, except where federal law or another mandatory rule controls. Subject to applicable jurisdiction and venue rules, disputes may be brought in courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Orange County, California. These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, prohibit class actions, shorten statutory limitation periods or limit a patient’s administrative, licensing-board or legal remedies. Medical billing disputes are also governed by the separate signed agreement and applicable consumer protections.
16. Severability and complete website terms
If a court finds a provision unenforceable, the remainder remains effective to the extent allowed by law. These Terms, together with referenced site notices, describe public website use only. They do not supersede signed clinical intake, informed consent, payer contracts, financial arrangements or legally required privacy notices.
